NSF Splitter Process

There are the following actions to split the NSF file:

1. NSF File Selection
2. NSF Split Option
3. NSF Split Status

1. NSF File Selection:

In this software, you have two ways to select the NSF file for further process.

Browse: By applying the 'Browse..'option, you can scan and select the NSF file you want from the file location on the disk.



OR

• Search: The 'Search' option is a beneficial option that helps you to explore NSF file from the particular directory on disk.



• Select the necessary file to add for further process, then click the OK button.



• After applying the Browse or Search option, the NSF file will enter the selection block, and the NSF file description also be displayed here. Now click the Next button for making further actions.

2. NSF Split Options:

The split option section exists three actions:



1. Target Folder: Browse the desired destination to save new NSF files anywhere on the disk through the Browse.. button before applying the split options.


2. Select sub-folder: In this section, the folder will present among sub-folders following the folder hierarchy and enable you to 'check' which folder(s) you necessitate to select for further process.


3. Split Options: This section of the process comes with the options that will help you to choose any one of them to split the NSF file:
• By Size: This split option permits you to split the NSF file into parts of 10 MB - 51200 MB and 1 GB - 50 GB size. You can split the NSF file according to size.
• By Date: This option lets you select the Date Range that helps split the NSF file according to applying date criteria, and you can add multiple Date Range.
• By Year: This option is almost the same as the by date option, as it allows to add Year Range to split the NSF file according to applying Year Range.
• Selected folder in single NSF: Using this option, you can create a single NSF file of checked sub-folders.
• Selected folder in multiple NSF: This option allows you to create separate NSF files of all the checked sub-folders.

Note: Here we will only represent the 'By Date' split option. Similar moves will be relevant for "By Year" split options and other options can be used just by applying a particular radio button. You can choose either split option whatever you want to apply.

Follow as per classification:



• First, Select the 'By Date' option from the presented split options then a Date Range dialog will initiate. Now you are enabled to add multiple Date Range using the Add button.(The Remove button placed here to help you if you need to remove the added Date Range.)





• Once the applied date ranges are added, then click the OK button.





• After that, the added date range will appear in the date range option. Now click the Next button to proceed; in the next window, the splitting process will display.

3. NSF Split process Status:

• After performing the above steps, the current status of the NSF split process will be shown-up. Here, you can check the 'total no. of item count', 'running status', 'target folder', and 'operation' type of a selected NSF file



• Once the Process Completed Successfully appears, then click the OK button.



• Now, you can export the entire report of the process in an HTML file format within the given 'Export Report' button.



After the completion of the NSF Split process successfully, including exporting the NSF split report, then click on the Finish to end the process.
