There are three steps to merge NSF files as following:

  1. NSF Files Selection
  2. Merge Options
  3. Merge Status

1. NSF Files Selection

2. NSF Merge Options

The merge option window consists of three parts to do the merge process.

  1. Target Folder: Browse the destination anywhere on the disk where you need to save the new NSF file through the Browse.. button before applying the merge options.

  2. NSF Options: NSF option has two records File Name and Store Name that will help you to combine/merge the NSF file in suitable standards:
    • File Name: In this record, you can insert the name for the new NSF file according to you, and can proceed with the default name NSF file.
    • Store Name: At this record, provide the store name for the new NSF file, if you want another store name change it or can proceed with the default store name.

  3. Merge Options: Merge Options are available Merge NSF Files, Join NSF Files, and Merge Contacts. Select any option as per your necessity:
    • Merge NSF Files: Merge NSF file option helps you to merge multiple NSF files into a single NSF file, along with a single folder hierarchy for all added NSF files.

    • Join NSF Files: Using this option, you can join two or more NSF files into a single NSF file along with a separate folder hierarchy for each added NSF file.

    • Merge Contacts: This facility works to merge contacts of selected multiple NSF files into one single NSF file.

    • The next section of the process will allow you to Exclude Duplicate Items and Exclude 'All Documents' folder from the resultant NSF file.

    • Exclude Duplicate Items: This option is assigned to eliminate duplicate items from the new NSF file.
    • Exclude 'All Documents' folder: This option is specified to skip the merging of items from the "All Documents" folder from the new NSF file. (This option will not be available for the 'Merge contacts' option)

Note: Here, we are processing with the 'Merge NSF files' option. You can proceed with selecting any option according to your obligation by applying a particular radio button. The same moves will be relevant for the other provided options.
