Export MBOX Items in Office 365
If you want to export the selected MBOX file Folder to Office 365, go to the ribbon bar and click on the Office 365 option of the 'Export MBOX Item' menu.
After applying the export MBOX in Office 365 option then the wizard will open further.
Check/Uncheck Sub Folder: 'Check' this option and check all the required sub-folders of the checked folder.
Export type: Using this option, you can export MBOX in Office 365, you have to select Export in Office 365 type from the 'Export type' dropdown list.
Export Target: In this section you can select export target folder and folder hierarchy option. Description is given below.
- User Name: Username of Office 365 Administrator and ensure that all other users have given mailbox delegate there to this user.
- Password: Password of the respective user.
- Export In : Select the mailbox type which you want to add such as:
- Mailbox
- Public Folder
- Archive Mailbox
Incremental Export: This option make sures to process only the remianing items from the last process.
Filter Criteria: In this section, you can select item filter criteria to include or exclude accordingly.
- Subject: Select the "Subject" option and provide a subject name in the edit box. If you want to export MBOX items of the provided subject name then select the 'Include' option or If you want to exclude that subject of MBOX files then select the 'Exclude' option.
- From: This option is similar to the 'subject' option. Select the "From" option and enter sender names in the edit box. If you are going to export MBOX items using the specified sender name then select the 'Include' option or If you need to exclude that subject of MBOX files then select the 'Exclude' option
- To: Select this option, and insert the name of the email recipient. You can also export those MBOX items which have a particular name for the email receiver through the 'Include' option. If you need to exclude that email recipient select the 'Exclude' option.
(You can insert more then one recipient, use semicolon(;) for multivalue filter.)
Here, we are applying Incremental export and Export in mailbox option with the 'Subject'(Is Include) and 'From' (Is Exclude) Export filter Criteria. You can proceed with selecting any Criteria using the 'check' box accordingly.
After following the required steps and enter all values, click on the 'Export' button, then the 'Change Target Folder Hierarchy' window will appear. Before the processing, you can generate the destination folder hierarchy accordingly.
Generate Destination Folder Hierarchy: You can make a target folder hierarchy for the MBOX file folder.
- Trim Folder level: The 'Trim folder hierarchy' is an advanced feature that will help you to trim a easy hierarchy for the MBOX files folder. As it is known by name you can customize the folder output hierarchy.
To customize folder hierarchy all you need to select located folder hierarchy from the drop-down list of the custom folder hierarchy and also you can proceed with default folder hierarchy.
Once you complete above the required steps, now, you need to select the required MBOX file while the MBOX folder(s) get listed under the column MBOX File Folder with target path.
Note: Here, we are selecting all listed MBOX folders with the default folder hierarchy. You can proceed with selecting any (default or customize ) accordingly.
After making all the required levels to select the desired MBOX files folder and folder hierarchy to add further. then, click the OK button, then a progress bar appears on this dialogue and export process will be start.
- You can stop the process through the Stop button. Otherwise, wait to get complete the process successfully.
- While the process will be completed then the Save Report button will be enabled. using this button you can keep the report of the process anywhere on disk in an HTML file format. click on the Close button to end the process.
After exporting the MBOX file into Office 365 and saving the report successfully further; then click on the cancel button to end the process.
