SharePoint to File System Migration
Here you can create and start the SharePoint to File System migration jobs. To create the new migration job, you need to follow the given steps:
Step 1: - Click on the create job option from the ribbon bar or from the Migration job list section.Clicking this button will open the new migration job wizard to create a new migration job.

Step 2: - Now the create migration job dialog pops up; here are three sections which are as follows.
- Job Name: - Enter the name of the new migration job here.
- Source Project: - Add the new SharePoint project from this button.
- Target Folder Path: - Select the Location from the Local Drive.
Step 3: - After adding the source and the target connection, click Next to continue. In this dialog box, you can select the sites you are supposed to migrate. Once the selection process is complete, click on Next.

Step 4: - Now the filter wizard will open up that has six options to filter out the site.

- Library Filter: - It will enable users to filter the site based on the library. Users can choose which library to include or exclude.
- File Extension Filter: - It will enable users to filter the file based on their file extension. Users can choose which file extension to include and exclude.
- Date Filter: - This option allows you to filter the data according to the date range. After selecting a date range, click on Add button.
- File Size Filter: - This option allows you to filter the file according to their size.
- If File Already Exist Filter: - This option allows you to filter the file according to their size.
- Skip File: This option allows to restrict the duplicate file to migrate
- Replace File: Use this option to replace the already existing file with a newer one.
- Create New File & Rename: This option makes possible to move the already existing file with a new name
- Sub Site Filter: - This option allows you to filter the file according to their size.
- BackUp Sub Sites: This option allows to backup the subsite along with the main site.
- Apply Same Filter to Subsite: Use this option to apply the same filter criteria as implemented on main site .
Step 5: - After applying the required filter options, click on the Next. In this Wizard, users can set the following options.

- User thread count: - This option is to set how many threads you allow the software to run for the users, i.e. if there are 5 users in the job and you set the thread count to 5, the job will migrate all three users at one time.
- Drive Item thread count: - This option is to set how many threads you allow the software to run on per user i.e. if you set the thread count to 10, the job will run 10 threads for each user.
- User Login Attempts: - Sometimes, while performing the migration process, the internet connection may get interrupted, and user login attempts get failed. In such a scenario, the software allows users to set the number of attempts before the migration job gets failed
- User Drive Item Retrieve Attempts: - It allows users to set the number of attempts to retrieve a user item before the status of the migration job gets failed.
- Bad items count: - This option is to set how many Failed items count you allow the software to stop that user migration process. For example, you set the Bad item count to 100, and then the software will stop migrating the user after 100 items get failed.
Step 6: - Scheduler: The scheduler is a very important part of the migration job creation, for the periodical migration process user can set this option and set the start time for the migration job as well, which ensures that the migration job will start automatically on the scheduled time. here are some options which are as follow
- Run Job manually : - Using this option, you can run the migration job anytime from the dashboard.
- Start Immediately After creating job: - Check this option to run the migration job immediately you finish creating job.
- Job Schedule: - This option allows to run the migration job at a particular time such as in a week or multiple days on a week with a specific time.
- Daily: - Migrate the users daily on a specific time.
- Weekly: - Migrate the users weekly, you can choose to migration options once in a week or multiple days on a week with a specific time.
- Monthly: - Migrate users every month or on specified months on a specified date(s).

Step 7: - When you are done with all the options, click on the Next and then your migration job will be created.
